Bonus Day Tag

Welcome to the last day of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags! Well, it was actually yesterday, but I was out at the Black Friday sales, and didn't get my tags finished! I was inspired by these pretty tags, made by Grace.

I used a digital image from Miss Kate Cuttables for my snowmen. 

The tags were blended with Gina K. Designs ink. Going from left to right, they are Turquoise Sea, Red Hot, Jelly Bean Green, and Dusty Rose. I coloured the scarves and hat details with matching Spectrum Noir alcohol markers IB2, CR8, CG1, and CR4. I used OR2 for the nose, IG10 for the hat, EB5 for the arms and IG1 for the shadow at the base. I drew on the eyes and mouth with a thin black marker.

The word Joy was cut from gold glitter paper. I glued everything on, punched the holes and added the twine.

Today is the last day of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge, so I will add these tags to the gallery.

Day 22 Tag

Welcome to day 22 of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags. The sponsor today is Birch Press Design and they have some beautiful layering dies. Here is the tag that was made by Kim.

I don't have any of these dies, but I think they are going on my wish list! I used a stamp set and coloured it in.

I used the Gina K. Designs Mandala Maker stamp set with the wreath builder template in my MISTI to make the pattern. I stamped it with Gina K. Designs Whisper Amalgam ink. This ink is really light, so when I coloured the image with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers DR5, AG3, and a Silver Sharpie, it covered up the ink lines. The center of the design was drawn freehand. For the large circle, I placed a circle die around the image and traced around the inside with the marker. Once everything was dry, I covered the ink with Clear Wink of Stella to give it some shine.

The sentiment came from the Gina K. Designs Square Pegs stamp set, and was stamped with  Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I rounded the corners, punched the hole and added the ribbon and twine. 

Since this was coloured, I am posting it on the 30 Day Coloring Challenge.

Day 8 Tag

Today, I have my tag for day 8 of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags. I was inspired by Susie's tag:

I don't have a snowman stamp, but I found one in my digital files. My computer tells me I downloaded it 3 years ago, but it doesn't tell me where I got it, and I don't remember. It sure came in handy to make my tag:

I printed and cut out my snowman, and then coloured it with markers. I die cut the 'ornaments' and coloured them before gluing them onto the twine and then into the snowman's 'hands'. I added Stickles onto the tag, to make a sparkly background, and let it dry before attaching the snowman and the sentiment with foam squares. I finished it off by adding some red ribbon at the top.

Winter Drink

I have one last card for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. 

I used the free digital file from Jessica Lynn Original again, this time using the winter swag. I printed it out and cut it out with my Silhouette Cameo. This saved me from having to fussy cut it, but you can certainly do that if you don't have an electronic cutting machine. I coloured the images with coloured pencils.

For the background, I stamped some images from Gina K. Designs Sparkling Snowflake stamp set in Blue Denim ink using my MISTI. I cleaned the stamps and then inked them up with VersaMark ink and stamped over the first images. Then I heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. I repeated this until the background was finished. I adhered the swag to the cup and then attached the cup to the background with some foam squares.

Love and Cocoa

I came across this sweet stamp set in my collection and had to make a card with it for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

This is from the Simon Says Stamp Cocoa and Love stamp set. It's a small stamp, so it's a small card! I stamped the image with Gina K. Designs Chocolate Truffle Amalgam ink and coloured it with coloured pencils. I added the sentiment and stamped the hearts with Gina K. Designs Red Velvet ink and it was done! 

I think the image is adorable. The cute little mouse looks so pleased that he has his cocoa to drink, and he even has a candy cane to go with it.

Pumpkin Spice

As I was hopping along the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, I came across a free digital stamp from STAMPlorations. It is called Pumpkin Spice Coffee Delight, so I thought I would make a card with it.

I printed out the image and used my Silhouette Cameo to cut it out. I coloured it with coloured pencils and used puffy embossing powder for the cream on the coffee. 

I used a stencil for the background and then adhered the image with some foam squares.

I have been inspired to do more colouring by the 30 Day Colouring Challenge. I am also entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes.

Perfect Blend

One of the sponsors of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop is offering a free digital stamp set. I decided to use two of the digital stamps from Jessica Lynn Original on my card today.

I made this on day 2 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge, so it was another opportunity to use my markers.

I printed out the designs and cut them out with my Silhouette Cameo. I coloured them with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers (colours are listed below) and adhered the fall leaves onto the cup. I layered some patterned paper onto a white card base and attached the cup. 

I stamped the sentiment, die cut it, coloured it with an alcohol marker, and popped it up with some foam squares. I had some metallic leaves in my stash, so I added these at the bottom.

Coffee Helps

Today is the start of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

I made a one layer card, so I used Gina K. Designs (GKD) White heavy base weight cardstock as I knew that the alcohol markers would not bleed through.

First, I cut a circle out of masking paper and adhered it to the middle of the front. Then, I stamped the coffee cup, from the GKD Perfect Blend stamp set, all over the background with GKD Chocolate Truffle Amalgam ink and coloured them in with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers EB4, EB3, EB2, EB1 and BG1.

I removed the masking paper and stamped the sentiment, also from the Perfect Blend set, in the middle of the circle.

Today is also Day 1 of the 14th Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge.

We are challenged to do some colouring every day for 30 days. It doesn't have to be a whole card - even 10 minutes is good. It's okay if we don't join in every day. We can use markers, watercolors, coloured pencils - whatever we want. The idea is just to have fun. Check out the blog post for all the details.
