Merry Christmas!

The theme for this week at the Mod Squad Challenge is Christmas or Winter, so I thought I would share the Christmas card that I made this year.

I saw this design on Pinterest and used a variety of stamp sets to make my card. I used my MISTI since I was making 30 cards. It really helped to speed up the process.

I used a top folding white card base. The manger scene is from the Inkadinkado O Holy Night set. It was stamped with VersaMark ink and embossed in gold. The sentiment, from Gina K. Designs Sentimental Holiday, was stamped with Gina K. Designs In the Navy ink.

On a piece of navy blue cardstock, I stamped the two flourishes with VersaMark ink and embossed them in gold. The one on the right is from the Inkadinkado Snowflakes set and the one on the left is from the Gina K. Designs Layered Daisies set. I cut the middle wedge out of the blue cardstock, glued a thin strip of gold cardstock on each side, and glued the two pieces onto the card base.

I made the star with my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine and embossed it in gold before attaching it in the corner.

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

  1. This is so beautiful and elegant and a real example of what Christmas is really all about. The birth of our Savior! I love it!
