This month, the theme for the Scor-Pal More Than One Score challenge is Florals, or Anything Goes. I was inspired by a card in the Score, Fold, Create! Project Book by Scor-Pal.
To make this card, you will need:
Cardstock - I used yellow, and white for the sentiment
Patterned Paper - I used Stampin' Up! Dusty Durango designer series paper, which is 2 sided
Embellishments I used:
Flowers - Spellbinders Shapeabilities Die D-Lites Blooms Three and Blooms Four
Leaves - Gina K. Designs: Rose Peonies, Give Thanks stamp sets and coordinating dies
Grass Green ink
Sentiment - Stampin' Up! Punch Bunch stamp, 1 3/4" scalloped circle punch
Gina K. Designs Sweet Mango ink stamped on white cardstock
ribbon, lace
Cut your cardstock as follows:
Card base: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Bottom panel: 2 1/2" x 5 1/2"
Top panel: 1 3/4" x 5 1/2"
Cut your patterned paper as follows:
Layer 1: 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
Layer 2: 2 3/8" x 4 5/8"
Layer 3: 1 5/8" x 4 5/8"
With the long edge of the Bottom panel at the top of your Scor-Buddy, score at the 1/2" mark. Repeat with the Top panel piece. At the opposite end of each piece, mark about 3/8" from the end and the measurements shown below to make tabs. Cut with a craft knife.
On the back, add Scor-Tape to the scored end.
Add the patterned paper to the cardstock.
Using the Bottom panel as a guide, cut a slit for the tab on the Card base 1 1/2" from the right side.
Using the Top panel as a guide, cut a slit in the Bottom panel 2" from the left edge of the patterned paper.
Adhere the 1/2" flap of the Bottom panel to the back of the left hand side of the Card base, even with the bottom. Add ribbon to the inside of the top edge of the Top panel. Adhere the 1/2" flap of the Top panel to the back of the right hand side of the Card base, even with the bottom.
Decorate as desired. Card can be unfolded to fit in an envelope.
We would love for you to join us for this month's challenge. All you need to do is make a project that has more than one score, and tell us where you used your Scor-Pal or Scor-Buddy. You can follow the theme of Flowers, or make an Anything Goes creation.
Your fancy fold card is gorgeous. Wonderful papers and colors too.
