I can't believe another month has gone by! That means it's time for a new Scor-Pal More Than One Score Challenge.
I made a Father's Day card this month.
To make this card, you will need:
a piece of 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock
a piece of 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock
patterned paper and embellishments to decorate
I started with the piece of cardstock, and with the 11" side at the top, made a mark 3" from the bottom on one side and 5 1/2" from the bottom on the other side. I lined up the two marks and cut along the line. You should end up with two pieces that are the same. You can set one aside for another card.
With the long edge along the top and the 3" side on the left of my Scor-Pal, I scored at 2 3/4" and 8 1/4". Then I flipped it over so the 5 1/2" side is on the left, and scored at 5 1/2".
Then you can decorate as desired. I used Scor-Tape to add the patterned paper, from a paper pack by American Crafts. The sentiment and images are by Gina K. Designs, and come from the By The Sea, Follow Your Dreams and Time to Coast stamp sets. I coloured the images with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.
Since I am in Nova Scotia, these are images I see quite often. The weather is finally getting better, and we will soon be able to spend time on the beach!
Being from Nova Scotia myself, I love this card! Great job!
