Can you believe that it's October already? I like the cooler temperatures that Fall brings, and I love the beautiful colours when the leaves turn. October also brings Halloween, so I made a Halloween card for the October Scor-Pal More Than One Score Challenge. This month, the theme is Halloween/Treats, or you can make an Anything Goes project as long as it follows the general rules.
Each month we will have a different theme and you will have a month to create and enter your projects. As well as the theme you will need to make "More Than One Score" and tell us where you used the Scor-Pal on your project. So a single fold card won't count but an Easel, Gatefold, Stair Step, etc, will :) Also we love to see your "Anything But a Card" projects, just as long as you make "More Than One Score".
To make this card, you will need:
5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of cardstock
Supplies used to decorate:
Gina K. Designs Haunts and Harvest stamp set and coordinating dies
Jet Black Amalgam ink
Recollections Witch’s Dust Halloween paper pad
Spectrum Noir alcohol markers: IG1, IG2, IG3
To start, cut at 1 1/4” and 4 1/4” from 3/4” to 7” along the 5 1/2” side of the 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” piece of cardstock. Place the cardstock in your Scor-Pal with the 8 1/2" along the top and the cut lines at 3/4" to the left. Score at 3/4”, 1 1/2”, 2 7/8”, 4 1/4”, and 6 1/4” between the cut lines. Score all the way across at 4 1/4”. Starting at 3/4”, the folds are mountain, valley, mountain, valley, mountain. The edges at 4 1/4” are mountain.

This is what it should look like.
Here it is folded and ready to decorate.
Here is the finished card, again. The piece with the bats on it is a little longer than the second step so it shows behind the ghosts. I used the Spectrum Noir markers to add a bit of shading on the ghosts. It is hard to see in the picture, but it shows up in real life.
I've never made one of these cards - yours came out so cute!
