This week's challenge at StampTV MIUM - Fair Fun was quite a challenge. We were to use the theme State Fair as our inspiration. I looked through my stamps and came up with this card. I am also entering it in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge - Anything Goes.
I stamped the jar image onto a piece of white cardstock 3 times. Then I stamped it twice on a scrap piece of paper, cut them out and used them as masks to stamp the 3 jars in the back. I coloured the jars and lids with alcohol markers. I cut out the labels and adhered them to the jars.
I cut the piece of patterned paper so that it fit in between the jars and taped it in place. I made the 1st place ribbon and used a Glue Dot to pop it up a bit. I matted the front panel with some red cardstock which I attached to a white card base.
I used the following supplies:
Gina K. Designs: Birthday Blessings stamp set
Cold Snap patterned paper
White cardstock
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Stampin' Up! Word Window punch and Banner Flag punch
Spectrum Noir alcohol markers: CR11, CR8, CR4, GB1, TB3, True Black
Glue Dot
red cardstock and ribbon from my stash

I love your card and it is so indicative of this time of year when everyone who has a garden are trying to enter their best canned goods in the county and state fair. I made tomato preserves this year but I have never entered anything in a fair exhibit. But I know a lot of people who do.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the nice comment. Your tomato preserves sound yummy!
