Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there, and to anyone who has mothered someone in any way! My mother loves orange, so I don't have the often used pink colour for my card.

The background technique I used involves an embossing folder. You ink up the flat side, the one with the design is pressed into the plastic, not raised up. When you run it through your machine, the ink is transferred onto the cardstock and the design stays white, or whatever colour your cardstock is.
