Here we are at the beginning of another month, and that means it’s time for another challenge! This month, the Scor-Pal More Than One Score challenge is Harvest or Halloween. You can also make an Anything Goes project, as long as it has more than one score.
This month, I made a couple of cute treat bags for Halloween.
To make one of these bags, you will need
A 6” x 11” piece of cardstock
Embellishments to decorate
I used:
1 1/2” circle punch
1” circle punch
Small circle die from Gina K. Designs (GKD) Fresh Flowers die set
Stampin’ Up Word Window punch
Coloured pencils
‘Boo’ from GKD Haunts and Harvest stamp set
GKD Obsidian Amalgam ink
Leaves from GKD Rose Peonies, coordinating dies, Grass Green ink
Oval die
Orange, white, black, brown, green cardstock from my stash
With the 6” side at the top of your Scor-Pal, score at 1” and 5”. Turn it 90 degrees and score at 5” and 6”. Crease and burnish all score lines. Cut on the two side score lines (5” and 6”) up to the other score line. Repeat on the other side.
You will have something that looks like this:
Turn it over and add Scor-Tape along the two tabs at the top, and the two small tabs.
You can either decorate it now, or after you assemble it. I found it easier to decorate before I assembled it. I also punched a small slit for a handle.
To assemble, fold in the small tab, and then fold in the side tab with the Scor-Tape and attach. Then fold in the other tab and attach that.
I hope you can join the challenge. You have until the end of the month, and you could win a gift certificate to the Scor-Pal store.
What a fun project! These treat bags are delightful!
