There was a new release from Gina K. Designs last week and there is a card challenge to go along with it called Lay It Out Both Ways. We are to make two cards, one horizontal and one vertical, using the same stamps for the focal image. I am also entering these in the StampTV Monthly Mix Challenge - Kindness.
I love Gina's heavy base weight cardstock because you can make a one layer card and use alcohol markers without them bleeding through to the other side. I started by punching the bottom edge of the card bases and then lined them with pink cardstock. I stamped the floral images, coloured them with alcohol markers and then stamped the sentiments. I coloured some adhesive pearls with a marker that matched the pink cardstock and attached them to the cards.
I used the following supplies:
Gina K. Designs: Sending Love Stamp set
Heavy Base Weight White cardstock
Bubblegum Pink cardstock
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Spectrum Noir alcohol markers: MG4, MG3, BP1, CT3, AG4, AG2, BP2
edge punch, adhesive and pearls from my stash

These are so gorgeous. Wonderfully colored and I love the colors and lacy border.
