I made this card for the Scor-Pal More than One Score challenge. We had to make a project that had more than one score line. I am also entering it in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge-Anything Goes.
I decided to make a step card for this challenge. I started with a piece of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" white cardstock. With the short end at the top, I cut a slit at the 2 3/4" mark starting 1 inch from the top and going down to 5 1/4". With the long end at the top of the Scor-Pal and the slit on the right hand side I scored from the top down to the slit at 3 1/4", 6 1/2" and 7 1/2". I turned it over and scored the same way at 4 1/4".
I stamped the flowers, leaves and sentiment and cut them out with a punch or die. For the peach flower I sponged lightly around the edges and darker in the middle. I attached patterned paper to the two front panels and added the flowers, leaves and sentiment, popping some of them up with Dimensionals. For the strip at the bottom, I cut a piece of patterned paper, sponged the edges and added a border that was in the patterned paper pack. I tied and added a bow above the sentiment.
Supplies used:
Scor-Pal
Stampin' Up!: Punch Bunch, Flower Shop stamp sets
Secret Garden stamp set and matching dies
1 3/4" Scalloped Circle and Pansy punches
Sunny Garden designer series paper
Peach Parfait, Cajun Craze, Daffodil Delight and Certainly Celery ink
Stampin' Dimensionals
Scor-Tape
ribbon from my stash
