One Layer Gradient card

This week for the StampTV MIUM challenge we were to make a card with a gradient background. I chose to make a clean and simple one layer card and am entering it in the StampTV Kit Addicts Group challenge - Single Layer.

I started with a piece of heavy base weight cardstock cut to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". I scored it at 4 1/4" on the long side but left it flat while I sponged the front. I tore two pieces of sticky note and attached them to the front, leaving some space in between. I sponged with four colours, blending them into each other. I removed the sticky notes, added the sentiment and some rhinestones before folding along the scoreline.

Supplied used:
Gina K. Designs: Dazzling Dahlia stamp set
Sweet Corn, Peach Bellini, Sweet Mango, Faded Brick ink
                             White Heavy Base Weight cardstock
VersaFine Onyx Black ink
sticky notes, rhinestones from my stash
