Pocket Card

The challenge this week for StampTV MIUM is a Double Challenge. We have to create a 'pocket' card/project and decorate the inside of the card/project.

I started with a white piece of cardstock, stamped and embossed the flowers and watercoloured them. I inked up the leaves and added water before I stamped them onto the cardstock to give a watercolour look. I folded a piece of patterned paper to make the pocket and attached it to the front panel, which I matted with more patterned paper and adhered to the card base. I stamped and cut the butterfly and attached it to the pocket.

I cut a strip of cardstock and punched the top to make the tag. I stamped the sentiment and added the die cut leaves and the ribbon.

For the inside, I stamped the flower and leaves and die cut them. I coloured the flower with alcohol markers, adhered the flower and leaves onto the card base and stamped the sentiment.

I used the following supplies:
Gina K. Designs: Birthday Blessings and Happy Birthday to You stamp sets
Matching dies from Birthday Essentials StampTV kit
                             Delicate Essentials patterned paper pack
Sweet Mango, Sweet Corn, Grass Green, Prickly Pear ink
Canson XL Recycled Bristol paper
VersaMark ink
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Spectrum Noir alcohol markers: GB1, GB4, GB7
Stampin' Up! Tag Topper punch
Kuretake water brush
black embossing powder and ribbon from my stash
