Triple Time with Patterned Paper

The challenge this week on StampTV is to make a card that has different layers with the pattern continuing through the layers. This video shows the technique. I decided to combine it with the Mod Squad challenge to use patterned paper.

I selected ovals for the smaller shapes and cut out three, one slightly bigger than the other two out of the patterned paper. After deciding where to place them I stuck them down with a tiny piece of tape on the back of each. I stamped the flowers and leaves. I matted the ovals and taped them back down matching the pattern that I had stamped.

I cut out a tag, stamped the sentiment and a few leaf parts, sponged the edge and threaded a piece of ribbon through. I matted the background, taped the ribbon on to the back and taped the whole thing to a white card base.

These are the products that I used:
Gina K Designs - cardstock - Prickly Pear and white
                           - patterned paper - Delicate Essentials
                           - stamp set - Love and Prayers
Creative Memories Cutting System
Provo Craft Die
ColorBox Ink - Orange and Fresh Green
Tombow Mono Adhesive
ribbon and foam squares from my stash
