Washi Tape Card

This is my last card for the StampTV Monthly Mix challenge - Gray is the New Black. We need to use gray as a main colour on our project. I am also entering it in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge - Anything Goes.

I liked the combination of gray and red that I used on my last card, so I decided to use it again. I stamped the flower and leaves, coloured them in with alcohol markers, and cut them out with the matching dies.

I took a piece of cardstock, adhered washi tape to it and taped it to a piece of gray cardstock. I matted it with red and attached it to a white card base. I stamped the sentiment in black and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I popped up the flower and leaves with some foam squares.

Supplies used:
Gina K. Designs: Rose Peonies stamp set and coordinating dies
Spectrum Noir: Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock
                          Alcohol markers: RB2, CR8, DR3, DG2, DG3, CT4
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
clear embossing powder, washi tape, foam squares, gray and red cardstock from my stash
