I bought a Spellbinders 3D emboss & cut folder so I had to try it out on an anniversary card I made.
It is called Luxe Backdrop and Border and has a die to cut the decorative edge, so you can emboss and die cut at the same time. Since I made a gate fold card, I used the border part of the folder, running one side of the cardstock through and then the other. I used the backdrop part for the inside panel.
After I had the card embossed, I coloured the raised parts with small, flat blending brushes, trying not to get too much ink on the background. I used Gina K. Designs inks: Bubblegum Pink, Wild Dandelion, Medium Lilac, and Lucky Clover.
What a gorgeous card!
