Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Card #4

 

My 4th card for the 2024 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop is a gate fold card.

The image and sentiment are from the Whimsy Stamps Comfort and Joy stamp set. I stamped the image with Gina K. Designs Obsidian Amalgam ink and coloured it in with coloured pencils. I added some glue to the whipped cream, sprinkled Gina K. Designs Puffy White embossing powder over it and heated it to make it puff up.

I stamped the sentiment with VersaMark ink, added gold embossing powder and heated it until it melted. 

For the card base, I used a piece of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" cardstock and used my Scor-Buddy to score the folds at the two score lines marked with a circle. This makes it really easy to make a gate fold card base. I added some patterned paper from the American Crafts Holly Jolly paper pad to the two side flaps before attaching the image to the left hand flap. To finish it off, I added a few snowflake sequins.
