Here we are at the last
Scor-Pal More Than One Score challenge for 2022!
Each month will now have an "Anything Goes" theme and you will have a month to create and enter your projects. You will need to make "More Than One Score" and tell us where you used the Scor-Pal on your project. So a single fold card won't count but an Easel, Gatefold, Stair Step, etc will :) Also we love to see your "Anything But a Card" projects, just as long as you make "More Than One Score".
Here is my project for this month.
I was watching a YouTube video by The Bearded Housewife, who works with a lot of Cricut files. I don't have a Cricut, but I have a Silhouette Cameo, which uses the same type of files. This card was in his library and looked so pretty that I had to try it.
To make this card you will need:
The cut file - https://thebeardedhousewife.com/how-to-make-a-christmas-concertina-card/ Go to this page, and sign up for his newsletter. You will receive a code to get into his library.
Electronic cutting machine (Silhouette, Cricut, Scan N Cut)
White cardstock
Blue cardstock (I used navy)
When you go to the website above, he gives a detailed tutorial on how to make the card. I'll give a shortened version.
I uploaded the cut file into Silhouette Studio and separated the layers. I took out the fold lines, as I used my Scor-Pal for scoring. I cut out each layer, and scored the fold lines. I ended up with these pieces.
I taped the two front layers together.
Then, I attached the background layers together, and added them to the base layer.
For the envelope, I attached the blue triangular piece to the flap with the cutouts and added tape to make the envelope.
I think this makes a lovely card for a special person!
I hope you can join the challenge. You have until the end of the month, and you could win a gift certificate to the Scor-Pal store.
