I made another treat box for the Scor-Pal More than One Score Challenge #42 - Treat Holders. I found the idea here: http://intatwynedesigns.co.uk/intatwynedesigns/?p=4621. I am also entering it in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes.
I decorated with patterned paper - 3 pieces cut 1 1/4" x 5 3/4" and 2 pieces cut 1 1/4" x 1 1/4". I didn't put any paper on the bottom edge. After the paper was attached, I re-punched the hole. It's easier to punch them separately so it isn't too thick. I used Scor-Tape to adhere the bottom tab to the back of the top edge and folded and closed in the side tabs.
I stamped the sentiment, punched it out and matted it with a scalloped circle. I attached on one side and a bow on the other side.
I used the following supplies:
Scor-Pal
Stampin’ Up!: Frostwood Lodge Designer Series Paper
Cherry Cobbler cardstock and ink
Decorative Label punch
1 3/4” Scalloped Circle punch
ek tools 1” and 1 1/2” punches
Scor- Tape
Art-C stamp set
corner punch, ribbon from my stash
This was very easy to make and holds 4 of the Lindor or Ferrero Rocher chocolates.
Using a piece of cardstock measuring 10" x 6 1/2", I scored at 1 1/2", 3", 4 1/2" and 6" along the 6 1/2" side and at 1/2", 2", 8", and 9 1/2" on the 10" side. I cut, trimmed and folded to get the following shape.
The middle hole was made by folding the cardstock in half and punching with the Decorative Label punch. You could use any punch you have, or even cut a shape by hand. It just allows the candies to show through. I used a corner rounder punch on the two side tabs and punched part of a circle out of the edges of the bottom piece. This allows for easier opening. I also tapered the sides of the flaps on the sides and at the bottom to make it easier to fold and close.
