I decided to make a 'quilt' with some patterned paper and cardstock. I cut out triangles and then put them together to create the pattern. Once I had them where I wanted I glued them to a piece of paper, trimmed the paper and matted it with some black cardstock. I adhered this to a white card base.
I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of white cardstock and matted it with black. I wrapped a piece of ribbon around the card base and covered the ends with the sentiment, which was attached with some foam squares. To give the look of stitching, I drew dashed lines on the quilt with a white pen.
I used the following supplies:
Gina K. Designs: Delicate Essentials patterned paper
Birthday Blessings stamp set
Prickly Pear, Green Grass, Cranberry Tart, White and Black cardstock
Prickly Pear ink
Ranger White Opaque pen
Tombow Mono Adhesive
foam squares and ribbon from my stash
Super beautiful design using those snippets of pattern papers. Reminds me of the quilts my Mom used to make. And, I admire all the carefully applied faux stitches. I would have messed up as sometimes my hands get shaky after so long. The papers you chose go so well together too.
