Gold Iris Folded card

I am combining two challenges today: the Stamp TV challenge - The Midas Touch and the Mod Squad Challenge - Special Folded card.



I used an embossing folder that came with a magazine to emboss the gold paper. Then I cut out the tree shape and taped the DCWV Holiday Stack patterned paper on in the iris pattern. I stamped some snowflakes from the Fabulous Holiday Fillers set with Colorbox Frost White and punched them out to make ornaments. For the star I used the inside of the snowflake stamp from the Snow Frame set which I embossed with Gold Recollections Tinsel embossing powder. I popped the whole thing onto a white cardbase with some foam squares.

    That is certainly a beauty! I only did a few iris fold cards but I always admire how they looked. And, the gold embossed paper is awesome with the design.
