The September Gina K. Designs Monthly Mix Challenge is Shadow Stenciling.
To create this look, you add white pigment ink through your stencil, let it dry, and then place your stencil back over the image. Then you offset the stencil a bit, and add coloured ink. The white ink softens the coloured ink a bit, and where the stencil is offset onto the plain cardstock, the coloured ink is the regular colour, making it look darker. This gives a 3D effect, with the white on one side, and the darker colour on the other side looking like a shadow.
I used the following Gina K. Designs products:
Ornamental Fans stencil
Honey Mustard, Warm Cocoa inkMassive Messages stamp set for the sentiment
Chocolate Truffle cardstock
I also used white pigment ink, clear embossing powder and white cardstock.
Beautiful card my friend! I like the look!
