I love the colours of Fall. Some of the leaves are just starting to turn here. I have a few Fall birthdays coming up so here is a card I made for one of them. I'm entering this in the StampTV Time for FALL challenge and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge - No Designer Paper.
I started by stamping the leaves in different colours along the edges of a piece of ivory cardstock. On a smaller piece of cardstock I stamped the flower with Ranger Perfect Medium and used a paintbrush to apply Pearl Ex to give a shine to the flower. I masked the flower and stamped the leaves. To fill in the small gaps sometimes left between the leaves and the flower I used a Spectrum Noir marker and went over all the leaves. I stamped the sentiment and sponged around both pieces of cardstock. I matted both and attached them to an ivory card base.
I used the following products:
Gina K Designs stamp sets: Square Pegs, Love and Prayers, and Birthday Blessings
Stampin'Up! ink: Ruby Red, Peach Parfait, Cajun Craze, Old Olive
Stampin'Up! cardstock: Old Olive
Spectrum Noir alcohol marker DG4
Ranger Perfect Medium
Pearl Ex: Antique Copper and Aztec Gold
