Gel Pen Accents

This month, the Gina K Designs challenge is to have some Gel pen accents on your card.

I used the images from the Fresh Flowers stamp set and dies for the main image, and inked them up with Dusty Rose, Wild Dandelion, Blue Denim, Jelly Bean Green and Fresh Asparagus ink.

For the background, I used the Thick Brush stencil with the ink that remained on my green blending brush, to make it very light.

The sentiment is from the Birthday Blessings stamp set and stamped with Blue Denim ink.

Then I used a White Sakura Gelly Roll pen to make the white dots on the pot and flower.

This was placed on a Blue Denim layer and then on a white card base.

Penguin Palace Challenge #40 - Rainbow

This month, the Penguin Palace Challenge is a Rainbow Color Palette Inspiration photo.

I love using the Stencils 360° system, so I decided to use one of my new stencils for this card.

I used the Asterm Charm Stencils 360° set, which has the flowers and leaves, and inked the stencils with Gina K Designs ink: Medium Orchid, Ocean Mist, Wild Lilac, Wild Dandelion, Jelly Bean Green and Grass Green. I attached this panel to a white card base.

I then stamped the sentiment, from the Birthday Wishes stamp set, cut it out with the coordinating die and adhered it to the front of the card.

August Scor-Pal Project

This month, I have a card with some 3D flowers and a 'box envelope' to go with it.

Supplies:
Cardstock: 6 3/4" x 12" for the box envelope
                   5" x 10" for the card

Decorations and embellishments for the card and box. I used the Heartfelt Creations Cascading Fuchsia stamp set and digital elements pack, and My Favorite Things Vanity License Plate stamp set for the number.

To make the box:
With the 12" side at the top of your Scor-Pal, score at 5 1/4", 5 3/4", 11" and 11 1/2". Turn the cardstock 90 degrees to the left and score at 1/2", 1", and 6 1/4".
Crease all of the folds, and cut the cardstock according to the picture. Use the Corner Cutter to round the corners of the top flap.

Add Scor-Tape on the right edge flap and right bottom flap.

Remove the release tape from the right edge flap, and attach to the left edge. Then fold the bottom side flaps in, remove the release tape and attach. Decorate the box as you wish.

For the card:
With the 10" side at the top, score at 5". Crease the fold and decorate. I added some of the 3D fuchsias to the digital background. I was making an anniversary card, so I stamped the 50, rounded the corners and added a green mat before attaching it to the card.
